I’ve never really had a struggle with my weight. Whatever I ever put on, I could easily lose with little effort.
At my healthiest, I developed a condition – alopecia. I had never been in such great shape, but I found my self exhausted 24/7 (and that’s not an exaggeration), and obviously, my hair was falling out. It seemed the healthier I was, the worse my condition was.
For about 8 months, I cut gluten in an attempt to help my hair situation, as many with alopecia said it would help tremendously. What ended up happening was the opposite. On top of still losing my hair, I gained 20 lbs (eating clean, exercising AND with cutting out gluten), I had migraines 3-4 times a week and I was even more exhausted than before.
My body responds to cardio as “stress” which worsened my condition, so I stopped working out and decided to implement intermittent fasting. I truly believe that intermittent fasting contributed to slowing my weight gain, but I was still absolutely stuck and hated how I felt and what I was looking at in the mirror.
I’m excited to to say that after just TWO weeks of this program, not only have I lost 7 inches, but my clothes fit (and some are baggy), I have MORE energy that I have EVER had before, I’m never hungry and am eating more than I’ve ever eaten before, I’m doing less cardio than ever before () I’ve been migraine free for 2 straight weeks, even through snow storms, and my auto-immune disease doesn’t seem to be responding negatively, at least for now.
I can’t believe that this happened in 2 weeks after I struggled for over a year. This program is obviously SO different from anything I’ve ever done before and is absolutely the best I’ve ever done. Bring on the next 4 weeks!
