I have tried many times on my own, and with others to loose some weight, but I always gain it, and more, back. This is the first program that actually gives me results I can see. After 1 round with Amanda, I have lost 3.5 inches around my stomach, 1.5 inches around my thunder thighs, and 1 inch around that booty of mine!!! These are AMAZING results because I am not what society would call large, or overweight. Slowly but surely My confidence levels are increasing. This program is truly a life changing experience – one I would not trade for the world. I am almost 50, only have a few pounds I’d like to shed, I am very active with workouts and running but FOOD has always been my shortfall. In my lifetime the recommendations of what to eat, how to eat it, what not to eat, when to eat, have run the gamut. The result for me ended up being not enough food and not the right kind. My thyroid is not functioning as it should and I am inclined to believe it is due to my caloric deficit, coupled with too much long-form cardio and the yo-yoing of my diet and weight. Excited to find out if my thyroid will bounce back over time…In the first couple weeks what I have learned about food, what I can actually eat and enjoy and how efficient my workouts can be with much less stress on my body is revolutionary for me. I had hit a stressful depressive point in my life that was cycling out of control. Right before I started the program I was craving sugar non stop, mood swings out of control, clenching my jaw at night due to stress and had to see a doctor and the amazing thing is no physician ever said it could be my nutrition. I felt terrible. I was a stressed busy full-time working mom. I am working out less and eating healthy and have seen results both mentally and physically in the just the first week. No more jaw pain, sugar cravings have minimized, lost 3 lbs and one inch of my waist, I have more energy (no longer needed daily naps) and have been waking up before my alarm clock to start the day! I am a happier mom and wife for my family. When family members or co workers here that I am on a “diet” I immediately get scorned. Why you are already skinny?? Well yes I am not obese but I was not healthy. It is amazing that society scorns those who want to eat healthy for other reasons than to lose a ton of weight. One week into the program and I have amazing energy! Not easy for a WAHM of a 6 month old (who wakes 2-3x a night) to say. I’m eating better than I have in years, and the workouts are kicking my butt (in the best way possible!) Amanda coaches you through this day by day which is extremely helpful! It’s a lot of change in many ways, so it’s definately a transition but your online group and Amanda makes that easier. After one week, my pants already fit better! I have been a runner and cardio addict for many years. Over the past two years I’ve seen a plateau in my weight and body shape or weight gain at times. Despite running many miles per week or spending hours on the elliptical I was unable to lose weight and feeling tired all of the time. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis while in college, so I became worried that my thyroid function was declining with the increase in my weight despite all of my exercise and efforts. I got excited when a friend shared Amanda Tress’ webinar with me. This program was exactly what I needed. I have seen great results so far! After two weeks of the program, I was amazed at how much energy I had. I used to feel bloated and generally nauseous a lot of the time. Now, I never feel that way. I am so thankful for this program. It’s made a huge difference in my life! Even just a week into the program, I can feel a major difference mentally and physically! Physically I feel less bloated and am experiencing a lot of energy. As a mom of two young ones I can use all the energy I can get! The biggest difference for me is mentally. I feel so much more in control of my eating than I ever had before! Before starting this program, I would spend my weekends running between 10-14 miles and then fighting with myself not to overeat. I would go into Monday morning feeling defeated and like I was starting over again. After just a week I feel successful and focused on my health and foods that are going to fuel me well.
