Happy Labor Day! I am enjoying a wonderful vacation with my family at the beach. We have been doing some hard-core relaxing and enjoying every minute of it. We will be here for 8 full days. Nana and Papa arrived last night as well, which means Brandon and I will get to enjoy some dates without the littles. Cole is two months old, and he is now sleeping 10 hours straight at night. Emma didn’t sleep through the night until she was over 6 months old, so mommy is VERY happy with Cole!

Thanks again for your interest in my Boot Camp! The Cedarville, OH Boot Camp will start on Monday, July 8, and finish on Thursday, August 15. The Beavercreek, OH Boot Camp will start on Friday, July 12 and finish on Friday, August 16. The Cedarville, OH sessions will be held on Monday and Thursday at 7 p.m. at the outdoor track at Cedarville University. If the weather is too hot or stormy, we will transition to the indoor track. The Beavercreek, OH sessions will be held on Friday’s. at Royal Point park directly behind the Fairfield Commons mall. (see me for directions). The time is current TBD, but it will likely be 6.30 p.m.

* For those who do not live locally, you may choose to participate in a modified Online Boot Camp which includes daily check-ins, workouts, and nutrition consults. Please contact me if you are interested in this Online Boot Camp program.

The Cedarville Boot Camp will be $120 payable via cash, check, or PayPal. If you are aware of dates that you will be out-of-town, I will reduce your cost based on the sessions that you will not be able to attend. However, you will not receive your money back for sessions that you choose not to attend when you are in town. The Beavercreek Boot Camp will be $60.

What can you expect from my Boot Camp?

Here’s how it works:

  • Six week Boot Camp starting at the end of June or beginning of July through mid-August
  • Boot Camp will meet two times per week and sessions will last for one full hour
  • Exercises will be appropriate for all levels with modified options for beginners. The workout will include plyometrics, drills on the track, and pilates.
  • Participants will be required to pay in advance and fill out all health forms, waivers, and liability forms before the Boot Camp begins
  • Participants will be required to log her food and do daily checkin’s with me via text or email.

I want to make this Boot Camp as successful for each participant as possible. Exercising and eating well go hand in hand — hence the requirement to log food. I also want to be sure you are properly fueled before we start each workout session. High intensity interval training (HIIT) is one of the fastest ways to get your HR up, burn fat, and develop lean muscle (which will burn 50 calories while stationary throughout the day while at rest (this will raise your resting metabolic rate).

The Boot Camp will be $120 payable via cash, check or PayPal. Two Upcoming TV Spots to Promote My Prenatal DVD Series

Since I officially announced my second pregnancy on Monday, my Fit Pregnancy and Parenting assistant has been busy writing press releases, emails, and brainstorming ways for me to promote my upcoming Prenatal DVD Series. On Tuesday, we sent through a press release to a local TV station. Within minutes I got a response from the TV producer who asked me to do TWO 4 minute spots in the next few weeks.

A huge thanks to Tasha, my wonderful assistant, for her hard work, great ideas, and press release writing skills. I absolutely could not be marketing my fitness business without her — but I have actually asked her to slow down because I currently have a long waiting list of clients. But no complaints here!

My first TV spot is on Monday, December 17 at noon. I will run over to the station during my lunch hour and do a quick 4 minute cardio, butt, and legs circuit for the camera. The second spot is on Monday, December 31 at noon. I hope to talk through some ways to make 2013 our healthiest year yet and promo my DVD series.

Another cool aspects of these spots is that I am going to rep’ my friends at FitFluential by wearing my new FitFluential shirt. I am also going to rep Under Armour thanks to my new friends in the marketing department there. I plan to wear my new Under Armour shoes and am waiting to get some other items to wear.

Now that I’ve officially announced my second pregnancy, I can start giving you sneak peaks of some rough draft circuits for my Prenatal Exercise Video DVD series! I landed two 4 minute TV spots to promote the series in the upcoming weeks. I will be doing some demos of my circuits on TV on December 17 and December 31. Another cool aspect of the TV spots is — I am going to rep FitFluential and Under Armour with some great new swag. I also plan to rep those companies throughout my DVD series.
