Family Friday

daddy daughter

TGIF! I hope you’ve had a great week. My week has had its fair share of ups and downs, but it’s ending on a good note. My career and employment situation has been extremely exciting this year, but it’s also been a challenge to find balance with a slew of new opportunities. I seem to always be flirting with the line between highly productive and insanity — between my web marketing business, PT mentorship program business, gym clients, online boot camp clients, mom responsibilities, and now the new BB partnership, things can get busy. For the past year, I’ve also been serving as the digital marketing media staffer for a university.

Well, this week I was once again faced with a touch decision. It became clear that I could not continue ramping up my BB partnership and training my team while also working nearly full-time for a university on top of all my other clients. My BeachBody partnership has been so incredibly exciting, and I am certain that it’s a great fit for my passions and family life. My team exploded, and in just one month, we are 33 strong. I was able to generate over $2,000 in the first month alone, and that gave me the confidence I needed to step down from my role with the university (which was one of my higher paying web marketing company clients). On Wednesday afternoon, I quit the university job after a lot of stress, prayer, and discussion with the hubs. It’s scary to step out of a situation with consistent, reliable, monthly income. However, I am so at peace about the decision, and have already received a few confirmations this week that it was the best thing for my family.

Also this week, I have been dealing with a fairly severe sports injury. I have piriformis syndrome which is causing terrible sciatic pain from my butt all the way to my foot. Ouch! Walking, running, sitting, laying — it all hurts. I’ve been on meds for a week and a half, and they are not helping in the least. Yesterday a friend of mine looked at the alignment of my hips and agreed that I am going to need to heavy-duty adjustments, therapy, etc. Today I went and got a cortisone shot in my backside. Emma stayed with me in the doctor’s office and thought it was so fun!

Usually, Friday’s are crazy work and fitness days. But after this crazy week, we decided to do a Family Friday! The hubs has been home all day, and I have been focusing more on the kids and recovering from my injury than work! Gosh, it feels good to have a slower day. Our friends are coming over this evening for dinner and we look forward to chillin.

How has your week been? Do you celebrate a Family Friday?

Hey lady! You need me to do a reflexology treatment using essential oils! It is so relaxing and truly does promote healing in your tired and over worked body. 🙂 Text me and let’s schedule a time!

When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and
now each time a comment is added I get three e-mails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
    Many thanks!

) Another option is to make a window-shopping date.

However, this scene changed when more programmers
became aware of virus programming and started building viruses that manipulated and destroyed data on infected computers.
